twine talesby jasna muhsin

hello, I'm Jasna

One hook, one skein, and too many ideas.

Twine Tales started as a plan to use up one leftover skein of cotton. It didn't work. The skein became a coaster, the coaster became a set, the set became gifts for everyone I knew — and somewhere between the first wobbly granny square and the hundredth, this quietly became a studio.

Everything here happens at one table in my home in the UAE. I write the patterns, test them twice, stitch the finished pieces, wind the yarn, photograph it all in whatever daylight the day offers, and pack every order myself. When you message the shop, it's me who answers — usually between rows.

I believe patterns should be written the way you'd explain them to a friend sitting next to you. I believe a handmade gift carries something a bought one can't. And I believe slow is not a flaw in handmade things — it's the whole point.

If you crochet, I hope my patterns feel like that friend next to you. If you don't (yet), come to a class — bring clumsy hands, leave with something real.
